Website

Since my last website post I have decided to change the home screen. I have taken inspiration from the Lady GaGa website, using a similar colour scheme, echoing the image style with the faded out edges. Still sticking with the bright colours and image of the artist, however I have decided to make the background the front cover image as it is extremely eye catching and helps to promote the product, much like with Lady GaGa's website and many other websites in the pop genre.

Here's my progress so far with my website. I am currently unhappy with the way it looks as I feel it doesn't look as smooth as I wanted it to; the image of the artist doesn't look in sync enough with the website- it looks as if shes has been plastered onto the page.

Initial website design attempts

Here's my first attempt at creating the website on wix. I'm not sure on the background or colour as it's not very bright, therefore I think I will make it white which is similar to some of the other pop websites I've looked at, as this will make it immediately a lot brighter and cleaner looking. I am quite happy with the ICONA POP font style though and so I think I will keep this.
